Strange Days

These strange days, there is a sense that the scarce magic remaining in our lives is vaporizing into cheap fakes, AI machine identities, avatars, or digital wallets. This is all illusion. The intrinsic magic of Creation's innocence is still intact, still unfazed.

As if my new smartphone taps to happiness or can replace some touch of human meaning lost and still unfound. Certainly, our kids still bring us hope so that the future is well, constant crisis is status quo, just our messy system.

They say today go with the trends, don't buck progress or question where the old values went, they just left, it was time, they say. Certainly, like the hapless galaxies, the social distance between us expands now faster and faster.
