Too Far

Is it going too far to say we're officially a bullshit country now? Or, that the Constitution has become a bad meme? The rule of law is suspect, maybe gone? The powers in the backroom prevail? Government and media are complicit? Agencies function as political muscle?

Going back thirty years, never been a Donald Trump fan. Cannot imagine ever being one, given his personality. But, I'm disgusted with the mayhem his enemies have resorted to, so fearful he could win another election. The dopey Democrats are morally blinded by this fear, willing and able to violate every principle of legal sovereignty to ensure Trump can never again be a candidate. Without massive, proven and conceded vote harvesting, and other shenanigans, Democrats aren't confident at all.

I'm afraid that the system may be broken beyond repair when political rivals are targets of wokely weaponized government goons following orders. It's highly likely the loony zealotry of Trump haters will destroy more than his chance to run, but also the trust in America's keenly balanced institutions.

Nancy Pelosi has it exactly wrong, but it's also saying the quiet part outloud, when she says Trump will "have his chance to prove his innocence." Not how it works, Nancy, unless we're a bullshit country now, the new banana republic.
